Adaptation of enterprises of the dairy product subcomplex of Ukraine to the interna- tional standards of quality and safety of food: normative-legal and statistical aspects
The purpose of the article is to analyze indicators of adaptation of enterprises of dairy product subcomplex to the interna- tional quality and safety standards of food and determinate the priority directions of industry’s development on this basis. Research methods. In the research process the following methods have been used: analysis and synthesis for study of milk pro- duction indicators by categories of enterprises and dynamics of commodity products; monographic for study of institutional aspects of processes of adaptation in agrarian production and processing industry; calculation and statistical for determining the consolidated, average, structural indicators of adaptation of the industry to international standards. Research results. Authors have studied the regulatory and legal framework of state control over the quality and safety of dairy products in Ukraine. The indicators of current state of quality of raw dairy materials, structure of milk production by groups of commodity producers have been analyzed. It has been emphasised that the lack of raw materials in context of the economic crisis in the country has a negative impact on the reduction of dairy products. The level of adaptability of dairy market producers according to national and world’s food quality standards has been developed and defined. Elements of scientific novelty. The level of adaptability of domestic producers of dairy product subcomplex to the interna- tional standards of quality and safety of food products has been offered. The present level of adaptation of producers of raw dairy materials and dairy products according to the European standards has been analyzed. Practical significance. A number of practical recommendations for solving the problem of private households’ low adaptability in improving the quality of raw dairy materials have been developed. It has been proved that an important role in this process should be assigned to the creation and development of existing dairy cooperatives based on united territorial communities with the involvement of targeted state programs and investments.
