The international scientific and production journal "Ekonomika APK" was founded in 1994 with the participation of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, the National Scientific Centre "Institute of Agrarian Economics", and the Karych Brothers Company. Since October 2010, it has been published under the title "International Scientific and Production Journal "Ekonomika APK".

Throughout its existence, the journal has established itself as a leading specialized scientific and practical publication and has gained high authority and demand in the scientific community, among practical specialists, employees of state bodies, politicians, and others. Its creation at that time was an objective and necessary condition. After Ukraine gained independence and embarked on the path of mastering and developing a market economy system, numerous problems arose, requiring answers and coordinated efforts from managers, specialists, and scientists at various levels to solve them. Even when answers to certain questions were available during specific periods, it was crucial to promptly convey their content to the executors. Furthermore, the agricultural industry's main characteristic is its territorial dispersion. The journal "Ekonomika APK" took on this significant mission.

"Ekonomika APK" and the journal's editorial staff have received numerous certificates of honor, accompanied by commemorative signs, from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, and the Presidium of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. The journal's achievements in the scientific field are attributable to the high qualifications and responsibility of the authors of its articles, including leading Ukrainian and foreign researchers in the field of agrarian economics. The relevance of the articles and their adherence to generally accepted requirements are certified through double-blind reviews by highly qualified members of the editorial board. The presence of authoritative foreign scientists among them contributes to the journal's dissemination in many countries around the world.
