Social capital in the self-regulation mechanism of entrepreneurial activity in agriculture
The purpose of the article is to formulate the nature and features of self-regulation of entrepreneurial activity in agriculture and determine a place of social capital in its mechanism. Research methods. In the study were used dialectical methods of cognition of processes and phenomena, monographic method (for analysis of scientific achievements of Ukrainian and foreign scientists on problems of social capital development, as well as selfregulation of entrepreneurial activity in agriculture), comparative analysis (for determination of similarity, differences, cause and effect between self-regulation and social capital), abstract-logical (for theoretical generalizations and formulation of conclusions). Research results. In the process of studying a place of social capital in self-regulation of entrepreneurship in agriculture, the essence of a concept of self-regulation was revealed, and its main institutions (institutes-functions, institutes-rules, institutes – organizational units), including self-regulatory organizations, were considered. Comparative analysis of concepts of “selfregulation” and “social capital” was conducted to determine interconnections and interactions. Ways to activate formation and efficient use of social capital in agriculture were proposed. Elements of scientific novelty. Theoretical provisions on self-regulation of entrepreneurial activity in agriculture based on its institutional nature and dependence on the development of social capital were further developed. Practical significance. The institutions of self-regulation and directions of their further improvement and development were identified. The influence of social capital on self-regulation was revealed, and proposals for its effective formation and use in the agricultural sphere were made. Tabl.: 1. Figs.: 2. Refs.: 25
